I sometimes find when trading at the 3:1 port, instead of 3 resources, the trade takes 4 resources. I am still new at this game so I did not notice it at first.
I'm also having the same problem. I've noticed it also sometimes happens when you have a 2:1 trade port. When I had a 2:1 recently and tried to port trade, I couldn't. It reverted to a 3:1 port trade - I had a 3:1 port trade option for other goods at the time.
My Catan version is 1.9.6.
Also I can't work out how to do a more than one good trade. I thought that it might not be offered in this version of the game but the running commentary says that the AI players are trading more than one item at a time.
This is a very cool implementation of the game so thanks heaps to the programmers.
