Solfege is free music education software. Use it to train your rhythm, interval, scale and chord skills. It is free software and runs on GNU/Linux and MS Windows, on Max OS X with some effort, and possibly other operating systems with the required tools. It should run wherever you can run Python 3.4 and Gtk+ 3 Web: http://www.gnu.org/software/solfege/ Devel docs: http://tcamundsen.net/solfege/ Download: ftp://alpha.gnu.org/gnu/solfege Mirror: https://sourceforge.net/projects/solfege/files/solfege-unstable/ Bug tracker: https://savannah.gnu.org/projects/solfege/ Git repository: http://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/solfege.git The regular solfege-3.23.4.tar.gz require you to build the documentation with docbook and lilypond, and don't include the generated lesson files. Basically, you need to run: ./configure && make with the correct tools installed. solfege-bin-3.23.4.tar.gz includes all the generated files. This tarball should also run on MS Windows if you follow the instructions here: http://tcamundsen.net/solfege/mswindows.html We also have the installer for MS Windows, solfege-win32-3.23.4.exe that includes Python 3.4 and Gtk+3. *Changes since 3.23.3* Most visible changes listed below. See the git repo for all the details. - fix F9 listing user lesson files - toneincontext: let the user compare and practise when answering wrong - toneincontext: remove Give up button - port exporting exercises to audio files and creating ear training test printouts to python3/gtk3 - download ALSA: reload moved to importlib |
