Dear all, As you can see if you've subscribed to solarpack-commits, I'm in the process of merging our sources with NetBSD's latest pkgsrc. This should take about a week -- please don't commit stuff in the meantime. BTW, I've used Marc's docs (update.html) which worked perfectly (except that 'cvs update -n' doesn't exist). Nota Bene about solarpack-commits: please don't reply to that list. Non-commit messages tend to get lost; rather cross-post here (solarpack-devel). Second point, we've switched our path prefix from /usr/pkg, which is intrusive for some people, to /opt/netbsd-pkg, which is pretty neutral. This means, in particular, that the current binaries will be incompatible with the new binaries. I'll release a patch against the latest bootstrap-pkgsrc so you can generate bootstrap kits, hopefully during this week (even though I'll be rather occupied with Apple Expo Paris). Third and final point, as you can note from my sender address, I'm officialy a NetBSD developer now. I'll be working (as you've probably guessed) on the Packages Collection and Solaris and Darwin portability issues. cheerio, -- Julien T.
