Wow. Well, before I got your reply I figured out that it was a libtool problem, and I just happened to have the needed RPMs handy. Now libltdl.a, libltdl.la, and libltdl.so.0.1.2 are all sitting in /usr/lib, and /sbin/ldconfig has been run. Still no joy, even after 'make clean'. Do I perhaps have an older or wrong version of libtool ?
