[softwerk-dev] nit picks

First of all, I can't seem to get to the archives of this list.  All i
get is a Geocrawler page that says error - list not found.

The page I'm looking at is

Just a few little minor things about the readme file.  I have the other
libraries installed globally on my system since I am interested in pbd's
other programs too.  The README file says I should change libs to
libs-foo, then do a sh autogen.sh

But 
1)there is no libs dir in the CVS version I downloaded
2) autogen.sh looks for the directory libs/share and exits if it doesn't
find it. 
3)ACLOCAL_FLAGS adds the def'n in libs/share/aclocal, which weren't
there. 

So by commenting out the aclocal line, and creating the libs/share
directory, I was easily able to compile, but maybe the readme file
should be changed for this part. (even if I did cvs wrong, the
instructions are to move libs to libs-foo, which would still cause above
problems). 

Now my real problem:
I am using the sample config file, (modified for my soundcard) and I
get:
SoftWerk: [INFO]: guileconfig : found softwerk rc file in:
         .softwerk.rc
ERROR: In procedure read:
ERROR: Unknown # object: #\newline

Not being a guile expert, I have no idea what this means. Any
suggestions?
