then you didn't read the instructions. they say:

  1A: COMPILING FROM A SOURCE TARBALL
  -----------------------------------

  Unpack the source. Then do this:

       cd /where/i/put/the/softwerk/source
       cd libs
       make
       cd ..
       ./configure
       make

Or do you mean when the makefile in ./libs ran "make install" that
this happened ?
