#1 Not able to pull comment id tags

Getting this error on the index of the site:

valid MySQL result resource in

on line 52

Sofa said its because it can't pull the comment id tags
from the db.
I'm running php 4.3.7, mysql 4.0.20 and apache 2.0.49
on gentoo.
