Hi,
Parameterization will be a good feature to
add. If Parameterization is done, then the values can
be picked up run time from a file or some place holder
and we can execute a request for multiple input value
scenarios.

Thanks,
Kumar

    Hi Kumar,

    You can do this in 1.5 by
    - creating a Properties step containing the values you want
    to provide at runtime
    - creating a Property Transfer that transfers these values
    to the target request(s)

    You can then init the properties step with different start
    values either by creating a groovy-script step that reads
    these values from some external source or by setting the
    source-file of the Properties Step to a properties file that
    will be read each time the step is executed..

    hope this helps.. the upcoming documentation will give some
    examples on this..

    regards!

    /Ole

    Hi Ole,
    Thanks for the information. As I wasn't aware of
    the features in the 1.5 version.

    Thanks,
    Kumar

    Hi,
    I tried doing that but was not able to. could
    anyone please help me in this.
    If I would like to parameterize values for the
    fields key and url for below given request and the values
    are stored in a file. how I will be able to achieve that
    from the Properties Step. Please send me an example.
    Example:-

    <soapenv:Envelope
    xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
    xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
    xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"
    xmlns:urn="urn:GoogleSearch">
    <soapenv:Body>
    <urn:doGetCachedPage
    soapenv:encodingStyle="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encod
    ing/">
    <key xsi:type="xsd:string">?</key>
    <url xsi:type="xsd:string">?</url>
    </urn:doGetCachedPage>
    </soapenv:Body>
    </soapenv:Envelope>

    Thanks,
    Sreeni
