The SnowStrat project has released a new program for analysis of snow profiles measured with the SnowMicroPen. The program Define Interface in the SMP Toolbox package lets the user define interfaces in the snow profiles and stores them for later use. The program runs under the IDL Virtual Machine, free for download at http://www.rsinc.com/idlvm/. The release is a BETA release, but has been tested stable on Windows machines.
