#15 Will Snort 2990 be supported ?

I just started my paid subscribsion on Snort, just to find out, that present version 2883 is not supported any more, so no updates. I'm gettimg a md5sum error, and Snort told me by email this is caused by an EOL version I'm using https://www.snort.org/eol

I dont know so much about how these things works, bur can I expect an updated version of Snort for ipCop ?

Or can I install the file provided by Snort directly on my ipCop ? Please advise
