[Snort-inline-users] release of snort_inline-2.2.0-RC1

The snort_inline team Rob, Victor, and I have decided to make
snort_inline-2.2.0 available as a release candidate.  snort_inline-2.2.=
0
will first be released with "RC" status due to the large number of chan=
ges
we have made in this version.  We have included the following features =
in
snort_inline-2.2.0-RC1:

Added iptables state support via marks in stream4
Added ClamAV preprocessor code, enable clamav: --enable-clamav in
./configure (disabled by default)
Changed default behavior of checksum_mode to drop packets with bad
checksums.  Can log dropped packets via "log" in config checksum.
Added the ability to send resets out of a physical device via layer2res=
ets
(disabled by default)

Please consult doc/README.INLINE, doc/README.clamav, and
etc/snort_inline.conf for more information on these new features.
