Good afternoon snirc webmasters, cookie.sorcery.net (which was the last server to use the snirc applet on SorceryNet) has delinked as of the first of this month. The name cookie.sorcery.net now points to a server which does not serve the applet. You have a couple of choices with regards to serving a chat on your web site. 1. You can change two lines in your <APPLET> block on your web page. <APPLET CODEBASE="http://irc.cigardiary.com/~ircd_/beta/" CODE="Chat.class" WIDTH=600 HEIGHT=400> <PARAM NAME="Server" VALUE="irc.cigardiary.com"> This will point you to the location of my IRC server. If your applet is self contained and the only people who are going there are going via the applet it will be ok. If you need to chat with people on SorceryNet, you'll need to 2. Find some other web based alternative that SorceryNet supports. Thanks, -Tony -- Hometown Enterprises Internet Services Professional, affordable web design and hosting. http://www.hteis.com/ |
