#21 Can't open a second instance to parallel chat

I wanted to have two chats going simultainiously.
One in #Trueselves and also with #hypnoticwishes.

First attemp was via simple /join unfortunately that
automatically initiated /close of the original chat. I was
hoping that the /join would open a new window for the
second channel.

Second attempt:
Opened browser and connected into the chat room.
Then opend a second browser window from which to
launch a second (parallel) chat window. Unfortunately
the second browser window usurped the first chat
window and closed out the original chat.

P.S. I'm using a 'business computer room' at a motel,
and their firewall blocked
