Snes Classic Mod Instructions:

1. Download the following files below:
   Hakchi web installer
   Syn's Hakchi2 folder
   Snes_Games folder

2. Install Hakchi via web installer

3. Extract and move contents of Syn's hakchi2 and snes_games folders into the hakchi2 folder located in your my documents folder and allow it to overwrite current files

4. Run Hakchi2 from the .exe on you desktop

5. Plug the snes into your pc via the included usb cable. Put the snes into developer/fml mode by holding the reset button and pressing tje power button and continuing to hold the reset bitton for atleast 5 seconds. The power led should not come on.

6. In hakchi select kernel on top left and choose dump kernel. If a dialog pops up to install drivers select install drivers. Once kernel is dumped power off the nes.

7. Put snes into developer/fml mode by repeating step 5.

8. In hakchi select kernel on the top left and choose install custom kernel. Omce process finished you will get a dialog stating you can now sync games and the light on the bottom left of hakchi should turn green.

9. Select desired games to sync onto your snes. On the bottom of hakchi is a space calculator. It is recommended you do not exceed 275mb of space used.

10. Select synchronize games on the bottom right lf hakchi.

11. Once you receive the completed syncing dialog wait for the light on the bottom left of hakchi to turn green. Then power off snes and test to verify mod was successful.

12. Enjoy all your favorite Snes titles on the classic.

Errors and known resolutions to fixing the erros

Errors
* C6 and C7
* Caused by modules not installing correctly
* Fix: Reinstall modules that are giving error and sync games immediately after

• C8

  • Caused by having too many games in one folder in the game menu
  • Fix: Seperate games into folders that are no larger than 50
    • Example Folders: NES 1-M and NES N-Z

• When selecting a game screen goes black then back to game selection menu

  • Caused by modules not installing correctly OR command line is not correct for non snes games
  • Fix: Reinstall modules that are giving error and sync games immediately after
  • Fix: For non snes games check what the command line should be and change accordingly
  • Example: /bin/bin should be /bin/md for genesis games

Instructions on adding more console games to your nes or snes classic

You will need to install Module RetroArch in order to play additional games and console types on the SNES and NES Classic

Nintendo Games
• Download rom
• Add Like any other game in hakchi
• Module: RetroArch
• If you would like for a nes game to load into nestopia add this to the end of the command aurgument line: --retroarch --core nestopia

Super Nintendo Games
• Download rom
• Add Like any other game in hakchi
• Module: SNES9x2010

Nintendo 64 Games
• Download rom
• Disable Compression in Settings by unchecking "Compress Non-NES Games"
• Add Like any other game in hakchi
• Module: glupen64

GameBoy and GameBoy Color Games
• Download rom
• Add Like any other game in hakchi
• Module: gambatte

Game Boy Advance Games
• Download rom
• Add Like any other game in hakchi
• Module: mgba

Genesis Games
• Download rom
• Disable Compression in Settings by unchecking "Compress Non-NES Games"
• Add Like any other game in hakchi

Sega 32x Games
• Download rom
• Add Like any other game in hakchi
• change command line from /bin/zip /usr/..... to show /bin/32x

PlayStation Games
• Download ISO and extract it if it is in a archive file
• Open the PSX Compression Tool in the Other Supported Files in Hakchi (PSX2PSP)
• Select the Iso in the ISO/PBP File
• Select Output folder location
• Go to Options on the bottom left and set compression level to 9 (best) and save
• Select Compress
• Now navigate to the output folder location and open it you will see a folder in there that has has the EBOOT.PBP file
• Add The EBOOT.PBP like any other game in Hakchi and be sure to rename it
• change command line from /bin/zip /usr/..... to show /bin/pcsx
• Module:pcsx_rearmed and Playstation_Bios

• Copy Files from Mame2003 Bios from within the Other Supported Files Folder in Hakchi into the downloaded game folder
