The growing number of Mac users out there should be pleased to know that the Snazzy Backup team has just released a new installer for the Mac OS. Come try it out, and start enjoying your backups with a simple-to-use installer. You'll get a pile of snazzy features to back up your data, with a simple setup, and best of all, it's free!

Version 1.0.0 beta of Snazzy Backup adds the ability of being able to upload the zip file by ftp, after the backup process has run successfully.

Version 0.9.1 of Snazzy Backup fixes a small bug in 0.9.0 and continues to be a mature and flexible backup solution for the desktop.

Recent new features include the ability to create multiple zip files, split at a maximum file size. This simply creates a number of smaller zip files, not a "span" of zip files where you need to put them together afterwards.

While Snazzy Backup has had the ability to include date and time tokens in the output zip and log file names, this tokenizing ability has spread to the list of source files and folders. 0.8.5 was still in beta when 0.9.0 beta came out. I couldn't wait.

New in 0.9.0 beta since 0.8.5 beta

It's been almost a year, but 0.8.5 beta is finally out. New features include:

- more tokens. You can now use not only time/date tokens, but also environment variables and command line variables. And you can use them for source files too.
- the sbs file is displayed in the window title bar

Version 0.8 is out. Snazzy Backup is now snazzy! You can filter files on a number of attributes, including file modification date matched against the date/time of the last run. This allows for incremental backups.

Version 0.7 is out. It has the name changed, new icons, installs to a new default location, and has a few changes like it remembers the last backup file and date. This is necessary for implementing incremental backups, which is on its way.
