Updating an Intel 4600HD over Win7x64 with SDI R423x64 and autoselecting would everytime fail for this specific device.
After looking at the mouse over information I realized it is sourcing the drivers from Inf file: FORCED\6Xx64...
When opened up the menu I was able to select one that was sourcing the inf from FROCED\78x64... instead and now the installer actually extracted and installed succesfully.
SDI analyzes drivers themselves to determine if they're compatible with current hardware and Windows version, and doesn't relay on folder names. SDI might still the wrong driver but it's usually due to developers of the driver providing incorrect/incomplete information.
You're suggested to submit logs, so that we could see if we can do something about it.
