LibWWW support is now fixed and will be enabled by default. Perl support is now enabled by default. TCL support needs to be cleaned up. I did something very bad and included some TCL header files so the TCL version will compile without the TCL source. I am currently trying to decide how to handle this problem. -Bill __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo! Shopping - Thousands of Stores. Starting with version 1.6 Snapper now supports GtkPerl. This is very exciting because Snapper developers will have access to the full Gtk+ API. GtkPerl support does not work with the multi-threaded version of Snapper at the moment. Please compile with --enable-perl=yes and --enable-threads=no. -Bill __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo! Shopping - Thousands of Stores. The development program pike has been renamed to snapide. This should clear up any confusion with other things named pike. Also I am currently working to resolve some perl compilation problems, i.e. works for me problem. -Bill __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo! I have completed the changes for Perl support, it would have been released sooner but at the same time I was working on using libwww to replace the TCL http implementation and ran into some problems (file URLs work but not http URLs). Thursday morning I will be testing the Pizza Perl application, and if all goes well will release the perl version. Libwww will probably have to wait. My goal here is to make TCL support a configure option, like Perl. -Bill __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Get Yahoo! Hi, New install just now. snapper loads the pizza app locally ok, but pike only returns: ** WARNING **: Failed to verify datasource: Pike ** WARNING **: Pike failed to load... Any suggestions what I should try? |

Snapper 1.2 is here! It is not a very exciting release, but the next one will be, since I plan to include the Perl API then. This version contains updated documentation, fixed applications in library directory, some new API calls for wave interface, and the first beginings of the Perl API.
