You bet, though admitedly a bit slow. I have a c# version that I am wrestling
into something a bit nicer with the intention of allowing more than one
ProviderFactory at a time.  This would allow some nifty features like plugging
in mock objects for unit testing, plugging in a capture utitlity, again to help
with unit testing. It also would help in cases where you want to spread queries
across multiple dbs, or against multiple data sources of different types. These
last statements are honestly unproven in practice, but the architecture I'm
working on would allow this sort of thing.
