SnakeCharmer is a standalone web-content management system with a strong python foundation. If you are building a web-site with server-side dynamic content and you have a preference for the python programming language, SnakeCharmer might be for you.

Websites made with SnakeCharmer allow developers to access and manipulate content on a database while allowing them to work in a familiar pythonic programming environment. Developers have access to simple python data types such as booleans, integers, floats, and strings, as well as classes that mirror the functionality of standard python classes like objects, dictionaries, and lists.

Currently, SnakeCharmer is only supported in Linux.
