What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Use an HDD on the wlxkj652
2. Use the same HDD on a PC usb port.
3. See that the HDD with the wlxkj652 heat up much more than with the pc.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected the same temperature in both cases. But the difference is huge.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
SNAKE OS V1.3.2 (20111019), Windows 7 and 8.

It's probably because snake os keeps the disk spinning. Can you try to install this package?

Hd-idle will attempt to spin down the disk if they are not in use. You have to turn it on from Services->Hdidle after installation.
If you have something constantly accessing the disk hd-idle won't help much though.
