I use a portable (= not "really" installed) Windows x64 version of SMplayer as GUI for Mplayer (mpv not yet tested).
SMplayer tries to convince me that I also need SMtube: Purpose unknown, it's not documented, and if it's (only) about downloading YouTube media, I have a Web browser (Chrome) and a Savedeo bookmarklet, and I have ffmpeg to mux separately downloaded video+audio for different purposes (audio HQ + video don't care, or vice versa, or "best" quality for a later upload of WebM or OGV to Wikimedia commons, or similar.)
So the first issue is simply, what is SMtube anyway, what are the various options in its INI-file, is there a readme somewhere? The second issue is trivial, apparently SMtube expects to run in a Linux environment. IOW, I found no yoDowNet.exe, and maybe that should be stripped in the Windows SMtube.ini version, or replaced by something else.
