Do you know what this means? Eventhough the email
was accepted, it was not delivered. I have set up fluffy
to 'only accept these recipients...' as we receive a lot of
ndrs/bounce messages from spam that is using our
domain address. I've noticed that this message appears
for emails that are accepted by Fluffy whenever the
backup smtp feed from our ISP kicks in and sends us a
flood of emails that were previously delayed- this
happens whenever emails cannot get through for
whatever reason.
Thanks.

I was getting those errors, until I realized that a listserv
was sending both to my 'only accept these recipients'
list, as well as an address of someone who had left my
organization, and was not listed.
After the server realizes that an invalid recipient is on
the list, it stops processing and gives the 354 error.
Another problem that I am having is that when someone
connects to the SMTP service and puts in an address
from the recipient list with the "from:<>" command, (an
example would be "from:<classicvette@yahoo.com>"it
substitutes the domain name with their IP address in
brackets, changing it to "from:<classicvette@
[111.222.333.4]" , again giving the error. Any clues to
why this behavior is happening? There are no problems
with DNS.
