#12 Deferred mail not being handled correctly?

Set to 15 minute deferral..fyi.

Situation: New contact tries to connect at 8:20 am.
Deferred until 8:35.

They try again at 8:30 and are deferred again, because
it is not yet 8:35.

However, are they deferred an additional 15 minutes, or
still just until the original 8:35?

The reason I'm asking is because I sent myself a
message from my gmail account and it continues to be
deferred. I'm not sure why.

I realize that the first two were from different mail
servers, and thus deferred separately. I realize this is
intended behavior.

However, when the third one came back, twenty
minutes after the second, from the same address, why
was it deferred again?

I don't think this is happening to everything. I tested
for about an hour and about 800 were reported as never
returning, while about 19 were reported as coming back
and delivering their messages. However, I don't believe
it is working 100% of the time, as the example above
illustrates.
