We have a weird but serious problem with Fluffy 1.4.89.
Everytime we receive a certain MIME message, my CPU
goes up to 100% and simply hangs the server.
The following is shown in the log:
<22>Dec 12, 21:58:50 relay1 Fluffy Immediate
provisional acceptance of delivery to
jdrost@mydomain.com from <nieuwsbrief@kras.nl>
194.151.226.98
<21>Dec 12, 21:58:50 relay1 Fluffy Unknown Content-
Transfer-Encoding ascii - PROCESSED AS 7BIT
At the same time, the attached badmessage.txt gets
created.
Note that the message is actually processed and
received at the internal SMTP server eventually, but
Fluffy just stops responding and thus doesn't receive
any emails anymore. Unfortunately, the problem first
occured on Friday evening, so we didn't receive any
emails all weekend.
I have tested it with previous versions of Fluffy and I
can only reproduce it (by forwarding the message from
an external account) with version 1.4.89. Fluffy 1.4.88
does NOT have the problem!
If you like me to forward the actual message, I would
gladly do this, but I won't do it now because I know that
it will hang up your server.
Regards,
Robert

Fixed in release 1.4.92a available under the Patches file
release.
Sorry about this.
This happened when an invalid (in this case) or unknown
content-transfer-encoding was used.
