Henry the Antelope was getting a bit frustrated with Mencoder. The latest shells seemed to be just a bunch of the same old cluttered stuff. Nothing simple - nothing lightweight. Then Henry tried SMSG. He was impressed. He discovered a lightweight shell for converting various video types. He discovered the ability to manually edit mencoder scripts in text form, with codecs, size and detail settings the way _he_ wanted, rather than what some coder thought was best for him. All of a sudden, Henry the Antelope was in control. And he liked it.
