I have an autoit script that I use to open sccm client center (the public version). My script retrieves the client machine name and holds it in the clipboard before opening SCC. Is there a way to feed that target machine name to the app on open so it appears in the "client" box instead of 127.0.0.1"? Right now I put it in the clipboard so I can just paste it when I highlight the field, but pre-filling it would save me lots of clicks per day.  I have searched around for an api type reference but haven't seen anything, figured I'd ask you since you wrote it.

Just start it with the name after the exe, like this:
    SMSCliCtrV2.exe <ComputerName>

That will start the Client Center and connect to the right computer automatically.

    Hope it helps!

Wow, sometimes the simplest solutions are invisible. Thanks, that works perfectly, although I'm a year late with my reply ;)
