Hi,
i am using latest version of SMplayer (smplayer-16.11.0-x64.exe) on a Windows 8.1 laptop
in media player classic & varients there is an option for recoding the vidoes using webcam, but didnt see this option in smplayer!
is this option hidden or not available? if not available then can you please include this at the earliest?
if its availabe then how can i use this? kindly explain. Thanks

There's an option but it's disabled by default because due to limitations of mplayer/mpv it only works with mpeg-2 videos (maybe ts files as well), so it's not very useful.
Thanks for your quick response!
could you please add this feature in upcoming version? i find it very useful & kind of must of option!
Thanks in advance
This option is already available, but you need to enabled it in smplayer.ini.
Look for capture_directory= and put there the folder where the captures will be saved.
Then in smplayer, select options -> toolbars -> edit main toolbar. Look for "start/stop capturing stream" in the left box and move it to the right box.
But as I said before, this option will only work correctly with mpeg files (maybe ts files as well).
hello bro I can't find start/stop capturing stream why ??
