#775 Cannot add playlists to favourites
Hello. Previously I used to be able to add .m3u playlist files to favourites and it would play correctly. Recently I am no longer able to do this as loading the playlist favourite item doesn't seem to read the playlist file to get the actual media file list but just replaces the current playlist with a single entry referring to the .m3u as a media file.
Please fix this! I regularly use the playlist/favourite feature to play music to my kids.
I find that at least after 16.4 this bug is existing. If I am able to find in which version this was introduced I will post.
I cannot reproduce this problem with version 16.9. I've just added a m3u8 file to the favourites, when I click on it all files are loaded into the playlist.
Hello thanks for this reply. Upon checking again, I find that previously I had copy-pasted the addresses of the playlists from KDE Dolphin so they were prefixed with file://. Upon removing the file://, it is now working.
However, previously file:// was working so if not too difficult please add support for just checking for file:// prefix and removing it upon reading favourite entry. Thanks!
I think this is fixed in svn r8169.
