    What version of smtube are you using?

    I can play that video without problems.

    os: kubuntu 13.10 x64
    smtube version: Version: 1.8 Compiled with Qt 4.8.4 (using 4.8.6)
    smplayer: Versione: 0.8.6 Qt 4.8.6 in uso (compilato con Qt 4.8.4)
    smplayer from ppa: http://ppa.launchpad.net/rvm/smplayer/ubuntu/

    Whe i try to download or play this video i get the "old youtube code" allert.
    I allow the update but it won't work.

    It's recommended to use the development version to play youtube videos.
    You can find packages here (compiled for ubuntu 12.04, I hope they will work on 13.10 too):
