Bugfix release; fixes a minor bug, so that number of remaining iterations in a MR3040/MR3050 hardware loop is reported correctly (was off by 1).
Because SMIS users are in the minority and often geographically isolated, I have added a general discussion forum for users of SMIS systems to discuss hardware, software, pulse sequences, general MR questions. I don't have access to an SMIS system anymore, but will attempt to answer questions regarding my software in this and the other forums.
SMIS (Surrey Medical Imaging Systems) was a manufacturer/integrator of
research MRI systems; These systems are now support by Magnetic
Resonance Research Systems (MRRS , Http://www.mrrs.co.uk ) My thesis
work was on one of these machines. As anyone involved in pulse
sequence development know, debugging a complex sequence using only a
fancy oscilloscope can be very challenging and labor intensive, and
access to the scanner is always a problem. I developed this software
simulator in order to aid debugging the sequences required for my
research. To my knowledge, there is no similar such system.... read more
