#34 network browsing only showing IPC$ share

When I try to browse available shares on my samba 3 server on an opensuse client, only "IPC$" is shown (even if I configure smb4k to hide IPC$). All other shares are not listed.
smbtree -k //server does list all shares correctly, guest access does work as well with smbtree.

smb4k 1.0.1/1.0.7 from Linux Mint/Ubuntu lists all shares correctly. All versions I tried on opensuse, which I normally use, did only list IPC$. I installed 1.0.1, 1.0.2, 1.0.5, 1.0.7 from software.opensuse.org and 1.0.80 compiled from source - all showing the same behavior. So this seems to be a distribution specific bug.

I installed openSUSE in a VirtualBox and will try to reproduce this bug. However, this is low priority since it indeed seems to be a distribution specific bug.

I found the cause of this bug. Samba is localized with openSUSE. Due to this, the implemented checks fail and only the IPC share is shown. This problem has been fixed now.

    Thanks for reporting this issue.
