We are proud to announce the SmartWeb team have finally managed to publish project templates for three of the most widely adopted IDEs (Eclipse, Netbeans and IDEA) plus a plain ant-based template for all other unsupported IDEs (or no IDE at all!).
More releases to come in the near future!
A minor bugfixing release has been published while development goes on focused on the first final release.
We are getting closer to the target thankfully to the added help of new contributors!
Join us, we need your invaluable help...
The site views some improvements and more documentation is available.
In addition the SmartWeb Team welcomes some new contributors: with more horse-power on our side we should get to the point faster and better.
Stay in touch for further news!
We mainly reorganized our framework site, added some faq and answers, added few reports and proposed a new logo.
We are eager to have any report from you!
Site updated again mainly for two reasons: stylesheet improvement and adding credits to the Cenqua Team support providing us with FishEye perspective (available at http://fisheye3.cenqua.com/browse/smartweb\) and Clover coverage reporting license.
Thanks to the Cenqua Team!
It can sound silly, but we are really happy to announce we hit one hundred downloads and we are one of the two hundreds most active project on SourceForge.
We still need help, but our efforts are repayed by your interest!
Stay with us, we are working hard to satisfy our promises!!!
We are moving to english documentation site to enlarge user base hoping to give more momentum and development support to the framework.
Remember: we still lack of unit testing, developers are needed for our modules and we will be glad for every revision to our translation.
The core framework classes are now available through iBiblio for Maven 2 complete integration and support.
Snapshots are still available through the custom repository.
We tagged the first official release in the subversion repository and published the new downlaods.
We expect your feedback and your contribution!
The project site has been updated with newer and improved documentation with a substantial reorganization. Some new FAQs added.
A new project logo has been submitted, but we are still in search for something fascinating.
Having the baseline finally published we can concentrate on unit testing, documenting and finalizing the 1.2.0 version with the core modules finally to a stable 1.0.0 version.
Hoping to get some more help...
Finally the 1.1.8 and 1.1.9 version of the framework were released with some usefull modules.
The providen packages include an Eclipse 3.x IDE enabled version which should reduce to a minute the time to start developing on the framework.
We need a translation (italian to english) revisor and a lot of code for unit testing and examples.
We are just ready to make our first release and give public visibility to our work. After a long refactoring process and a huge sorce repository restyling we just need a few documentation refinements and a little more work with our Maven 2 POMs. Give us just a little bit of time and you'll get TWO releases: the previuos, now discontinued, version of the framework and the currently development version!
