Sorry for the late response. The current version of SMTV does not use mythweb. It uses the Service API. Please check the following URL in a webbrowser:

Thanks. I went to the URL and got backend status but a blank list of recordings. After getting curious and browsing around what was available I went back to the original page and my recording list appeared. Then tried the tv app again and it was populated as it should be.
Whatever my issue it looks like its with the backend rather than the app.
Both versions of the app now play video correctly. Only issues I can see are that pressing 'return' while viewing video drops the user back to Samsungs Smart Hub rather than just stopping video playback as per other apps. Any attempt to FF/REW during playback using the beta version brings up the playback progress bar but no FF/REW occurs. The progress bar then stays permanently on screen.

Installed as per instructions. Got error message during install about use of two undocumented APIs but surprised to see 2 icons (1 marked beta).
Both apps run but seem unable to retrieve data from backend (correct ip set). Navigating the screens results in no entries or an endless busy signal.
One thought. Noticed that settings refer to mythweb but has no option to use '/mythweb' subdir (my webserver does other stuff). Could that be it?
If theres anything else I can check just let me know.

I opened a ticket for the return key issue. I hope we can fix it in the next release.
The beta version uses a new mechanism to stream videos. It support new features such as multiple audio streams but is currently unstable.
