Hello, I've updated smartmontools to the 6.2 version, and I got "Logical block provisioning type unreported, LBPME=1, LBPRZ=1" on my Seagate SSD. It comes from : http://smartmontools.sourceforge.net/doxygen/scsiprint_8cpp_source.html#l01569 but I don't know if I need to report that message, it's just a disk-related issue. If you need more info, do not hesitate to ask :) Thank you smartctl -x /dev/rdsk/c1t23d0s2 -q noserial smartctl 6.2 2013-07-26 r3841 [i386-pc-solaris2.10] (local build) Copyright (C) 2002-13, Bruce Allen, Christian Franke, www.smartmontools.org === START OF INFORMATION SECTION === Vendor: SEAGATE Product: ST100FM0002 Revision: 0003 User Capacity: 100,030,242,816 bytes [100 GB] Logical block size: 512 bytes Logical block provisioning type unreported, LBPME=1, LBPRZ=1 Rotation Rate: Solid State Device Form Factor: 2.5 inches Device type: disk Transport protocol: SAS Local Time is: Wed Oct 16 10:03:34 2013 CEST SMART support is: Available - device has SMART capability.
