Cygwin maps device names /dev/sd[a...] to \.\\PhysicalDrive[0...] There are also several native windows versions of dd: http://unxutils.sourceforge.net/ http://gnuwin32.sourceforge.net/ http://users.erols.com/gmgarner/forensics/ http://uranus.it.swin.edu.au/~jn/linux/rawwrite/dd.htm But I have no experience with any of these.
