Hi,
 
I've read a lot of webpages on S.M.A.R.T., looked @ the site of Maxtor, but
still wonder why my machine shows ever increasing numbers for attributes Raw_Read_Error_Rate
and Soft_Read_Error_Rate. I've read the stuff on CRC and harddisks that always read
faulty data and correct with CRC , but when I look for example outputs I never see these
high values...
 
Thanks if you have a hint...
