Yes, that's it.  In my search for prior info on this problem, I didn't locate this FAQ, for some reason.
 
I did the calculation on this problem, and it foots exactly.  So thank you for pointing out the solution.
 
The problem with the apparent failure to report raw read and seek errors/error rate still remains, however (item 3 below).  I've still been unable to find anything on this problem. The two WD examples you have on the Home Page may confirm this as normal behavior for the seek error rate, but doesn't look like it for the read error rate.  In any case I would think both of them should report something, as the Seagate drives do.
