I know too little about GT3 to comment specifically on that, but so far
as the CA is concerned, you can use any you wish to generate the
certificates. We supply ant scripts to generate the various identities
using OpenSSL (plus some pre-computed examples for experimentation), but
assuming you can do the same things with the eScience CA you should be
