We are using www.thinworks.com e3000 (which has embedded Linux
on a flashrom card connected via daughter board to the IDE connector)
and our own slim line client (becasue we can do more interfacing) as
follows:

NLX motherboard (BX chipset) 
- supports Celeron/PII/PIII
- onboard ATI Rage 4M video chip
- on-board Intel 82558 LAN chipset
- on-board Yamaha sound chip
- 2 x DIMM slot
2. NLX case (33.5cm x 28.5cm x 8.5cm)
3. Riser card for 2 x PCI + 1 x ISA
4. Various bits & pieces

Just add CPU (probably stick a Celeron in), memory (64M),
monitor, keyboard & mouse, assemble and configure for Etherboot, etc.

Both of which are working very well. The users are dumb founded with
X speed on the clients v's Windoze performance (of course they don't
realise its the server speed and fast ethernet thats important.
