I'm wondering if SmartPOS 2.0 support Discount Schema? I tried to set specific product categories to have specific discount setting per business group.
Ex.
- Business Group 1 (Retail) is on the discount level 1 where they can get 10% discount for product category 1 and 2.
- Business Group 2 (Wholesale 1) is on the discount level 2 where they can get 15% discount for product category 1 and 20% for product category 2.
With this setup in iDempiere, can I also use it with SmartPOS so that when the customer is Business Group purchase from us, they will get the discount in the discount scheme provided. All the seller has to do is to select the correct business partner.
Also, read on your setup tutorial but there is no where said about discount. Only multiple pricelists. Pricelist here doesn't work automatically and need to generate each time we add a new product. So, it doesn't really work in the groceries store business type where many items will be added everyday.
Thank you

If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
SmartPOS replicates the version of pricelist that correspond to the unit of measure of the product (three prices), we don´t synchronize discounts to the client side (too complex for a pOS side), but if your discoutn schema just modify the prices as a result of the discount rules, any time a price is modified that prices will be replicated to the POS side.
I guess, that means that it doesnñt matter how do you modify the prices in the ERP side (discount, prices, schema rules), those prices affected by the rules, for products beloginf to the POS category will be synchronized to the POS side.

Just have in mind that any price change on ERP side (group of customers, product category, and so on) will be replicated to the client side if they belong to the same organization, and if those products belong to a products category below the POS category as well ...replicated details here>
discounts schema are you described in not in smartpos, discounts are modelen in V7.1 as charges ... please take a look to the provided documentation ... and virtual appliance for your testing

That means I still have to have each terminal just for specific group of customer since they are all using different price. Am I correct?
Thank you,
