#1 Unable to Login

I started the transport program first and then started the client. I used my normal Second Life username and password and have tried:

localhost:8338
localhost:8339
127.0.0.1:8338
127.0.0.1:8339

When those didn't work, I killed the transport program and changed the config file to use 6780 for the unsecure port and 6781 for secure port. I then used these Host entries:

localhost:6780
localhost:6781
127.0.0.1:6780
127.0.0.1:6781

In all cases, login failed the same way. Please see attached screenshots for verification. I'm running Windows Vista SP2 32-bit. I tried with the Windows Firewall disabled and still could not connect. Are there ports I should open on my router? Note that I don't need to open them when using a normal SL viewer.
