This appears to be a bug: I set up the SliMP3 and it
works fine, but when my Ethernet hub is powered off, it
will display a message that the network cannot be found
(which is fine), and after that, it turns itself off
permanently...only removing power and re-applying
power will bring the unit back to life. Seems to me the
power button on the remorte should bring it back up. I
want to mount the unit permanently, but while it's like
this, I can't.

I second this bug....it is very *very* evident. I wish I was a
    coder....

I noticed this also and also would like to mount this
permanently. I have figured out a way by connecting reset
switch inline and mounting that on the wall. Then if this
happens the reset switch will cut the power. I had my
electrician friend set this up and it works great now. But I
agree that they need to fix this issue. Also they need to
change the setup menu popping up every time you cut power.
