Bug: slimlock isn't guaranteed to grab keyboard
A fork of the SLiM "Simple Login Manager"

For my test case, I typed:
sleep5; slimlock
then opened the XFCE applications menu. When slimlock cut in, it didn't respond to keys. The menu still had the keyboard, but none of the apps had keyboard shortcuts. I hit ESC but that didn't help - it closed the menu but left the Terminal window with keyboard focus. After trying quite a few keys, I hit on <ctrl>C, which closed slimlock and revealed everything I'd typed on the Terminal.
There is a patch in slim-ng and axs-gentoo that supposedly fixes this.
