#2 this won't compile on AMD64 with RedHat Taroon Beta2

just try to compile it on AMD64 using taroon-beta2
get a couple of error like this:
{standard input}:242035: Error: Incorrect register `%
edx' used with `q' suffix
{standard input}:245938: Error: Incorrect register `%
eax' used with `q' suffix
{standard input}:246454: Error: Incorrect register `%
eax' used with `q' suffix
{standard input}:246568: Error: Incorrect register `%
edx' used with `q' suffix

dude on taroon-beta list said that the CFLAGS are
wrong. Though I might post it here see if anyone
responds.
