#6 Segmenting based on a volume of interest

It would be very helpful if the user could specify a
volume of interest as a "scope" for the various
segmentation routines listed under the editor. In
addition to thresholding a single slice or the whole
volume, if would be great if you could just threshold
an arbitrary subvolume that the user defines. This
functionality would dramatically improve Slicer as a
segmentation tool.
