I wasn't able to compile the 0.4.4 version on SuSE 9.0.
First "Make" couldn't find the ncurses headers. I
installed the ncurses-devel package from the SuSE DVD
and then the compilation procedure crashed complaining
that spacer3 is undeclared in line 45 of playlevel.cpp
and then spacer7 in line 76 etc.
