The RAID drive is a SCSI drive pulled from a Compaq server (it's
product number has a -002 at the end, not sure what that means) and I
do not have a piece of write-blocking hardware for SCSI.

I've ordered it to be overnighted, so hopefully tomorrow I can start
providing some information about what shows up on the drive.

In the mean-time, I am examining a more common IDE drive that was also
sent.  I already have an IDE write-blocker.
