Which version of Autopsy are you using? Are you using Multi-user cases? If so, you must use a UNC path for the "Base Directory" (the output folder), or Solr won't be able to find the folder to write to it. If you have that right, the next thing to check is the IP and port of your Solr server in Multi-user Settings. It sounds to me like they are not right, or your Solr service isn't up and running. If you click the Test button next to Solr Settings, do you get a green check mark or a red dash?
