[sleuthkit-users] Problems with Autopsy x64

Hi all,

I've just tried to install the 64 bit version of Autopsy 3.0.9 in a clean
Windows 8 machine and it was having problems. I figured out that it was
because I didn't have the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package
installed.

After installing Microsoft Visual C++ (
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=13523) and
reinstalling Autopsy everything started working.
