To my knowledge, this hasn't been addressed on-list before. If you write a quick shell session example noting its use (cat'ing into a config file), it might be easy to get a patch accepted. (I'm just guessing, though.) I've recently found myself wanting a clamscan run in tandem with Fiwalk.
